Times of India : Actor Vijay is one person who enjoys singing. While he has sung several numbers from his films at events, it’s been a while since he actually recorded any for his flicks. But now, the actor has sung a song for Harris Jayaraj for Thuppakki.
Confirming the news, the music composer posted on his microblogging page, “Well... Just tried actor Vijay to sing a party track for Thuppakki in Mumbai, and he came up with flying colours...!” Director A R Murugadoss also posted a picture of the actor recording for the track.

Harris Jayaraj who has scored music for Thuppakki said “After I finished composing the song, I knew that Vijay’s voice suited it best and when I told him about it, he obliged and was very excited”.

for the industry people and the stars participated in
CCL to celebrate the success.

Vijay, who is waiting to revive his Thuppakki
schedules that are halted due to the tussles
between FEFSI and TFPC has thrown a bash for the
Chennai Rhinos, who won the Celebrity Cricket
League.

The grand party marked the presence of
many industry biggies along with Vikranth, Shanthanu, Jithan Ramesh and many others. The stars seem have partied big time with Vijay :)

Reports about cancellation of ‘Thuppaakki’ schedule have frustrated actor Vijay. The movie is a directorial venture by Murugadoss and the production is by Kalaipuli Thanu. The scenario being that the initial schedule of the movie is
complete, Murugadoss has halted further proceedings and switched over
to making of a documentary. Resultantly reports went abuzz that the movie has
been dropped. This proved a big shock for Vijay fans.

Since both director and actor are maintaining silence, many have supposed that the movie has of course been dropped. People are enquiring with Vijay and his father SA Chandrasekar as to why the movie has been dropped.

During Vijay’s presence in a recent program fansenquired with him about drop of movie schedule. Vijay answered ‘Do not believe reports that the schedule has been dropped. It will be resumed soon. After a solution for FEFSI issue is arrived at the movie schedule will be taken up again’ The current break seems to be very useful for Vijay. He is participating in opening ceremony for
beauty parlor and Cell Phone shops. He seems to have decided to participate in programs arranged by fans.

With the buzz raised by his Pongal release 'Nanban' yet to settle down, Vijay has moved on to his next- 'Thuppakki' which is being directed by A R Murugadoss. "It will show a different Vijay to my fans," says the Ilayathalapathy.

"Thuppakki will be a big treat to the audience. If the script is like a gun, I am the bullet in it. Such will be the narration and presentation of Murugadoss. I am excited about the project," Vijay says further.

On the response to 'Nanban', he says, "We all knew that the film would sure become a hit. Shankar's treatment to an already strong script has done wonders. I am happy to know that my fans are celebrating Nanban at cinema halls."

On whether he would work with Shankar again, Vijay says, "What's wrong if we come together again. In fact, Shankar wanted me to play the lead role in Mudhalvan itself. But I could not take up the offer then due to various reasons."

Aamir Khan watched Nanban

3idiots hero have watched his cameo in tamil which is done by Kollywood King Vijay.The Rajkumar Hirani's story has been same but Shankar has tried something different.Very
good while seeing in Tamil with Subtitles.

I really enjoyed the movie Nanban. Especially Asku Laska song is Awesome. According to me,In Tamil after Robot,I think
Nanban will be the next best.
