Deccan Chronicle Article J.Jayalalithaa to launch Vijay’s audio?

Even before TN State election results, Ilaya Thalapthy Vijay and his dad S.A. Chandrashekaran were particular that they invite AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa for the launch of the former’s upcoming film Velayudham. After the thumping victory and with JJ assuming office of the Chief Minister today, it looks like it will be a tough proposal for her to attend the event.

According to sources, the producer of the flick Aascar Ravichandran has decided to postpone the launch which will be convenient for Amma to attend. Vijay and SAC were the among the first few VIPs who called on Ms. Jayalalithaa at her Poes Garden residence when her party was declared to have won with record figures. SAC also made all efforts to rope in JJ for the audio launch of his directorial venture Sattapadi Kuttram a few months ago, but could not accomplish.
It may also be noted that Vijay hogged the limelight when Ravichandran strategically released Velayudham’s promos and teasers on Jaya TV on the election results day when Amma was heading for a landslide victory. While Jayam Raja is wielding the megaphone, Vijay Antony has composed the music. Vijay has two hot heroines Hansika Motwani and Genelia for company.
