Discoveries and experiments have become the agenda of lyricist Madhan Karky. Having inherited the traits from his father Vairamuthu, the young and inspiring Madhan is gliding with more chartbusters from his library. Within a short span of time, he has managed to come up with laudable songs that include the all time favorite albums like ‘Enthiran’, ‘Ko’, ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ and more. Madhan was involved in the long survey of finding the common Tamil words that are used in songs and made sure that none of them are included in his works. Endeavoring with this brilliant effort, he is now taking a step further by writing lyrics in foreign languages. It is worth mentioning that Madhan had penned a Portuguese Song in ‘180’ and has now done a Mandarin song for Suriya’s ‘7aam Arivu’. What’s more exciting is that he has written lyrics in 15 different languages for a duet song in Shankar’s ‘Nanban’. Says Madhan: ‘I underwent a full-fledged course for 1.5 years to learn Mandarin in Australia and that has helped me to write lyrics.’ |
