Producer turned actor Udhayanidhi Stalin has first decided to make his debut with director Shankar’s Nanban. He wanted to do the role played by Madhavan in the Hindi version when Shankar planned to do the remake.
By moving a step forward he even requested the producers of Nanban to cast him in one of the lead role but he later changed his mind. It was Udhayanidhi’s dream to make his big screen debut with a comedy flick and this might be the reason he wanted to star in Nanban. He changed his mind when director Rajesh approached him with the script of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. Udhayanidhi was very much impressed with the script and decided to do the role.
It is very well known that director Rajesh is brilliant in making films with comedy and humor. This has attracted the producer and within no time they have started the film which is currently under wrapping up its third schedule.
