There seems to be little chance for ‘Velayudham’, Vijay’s forthcoming film, to hit the screens on June 22, the Ilaya Thalapathi’s birthday. We learn that the movie will be released only around July or August.
“Though a major part of the film has been shot, some important scenes and songs are yet to be picturised. So it will take time at least till June to complete the shooting. Post production will take one more month,” sources say.
Produced by Aascar V Ravichandran, ‘Velayudham’ is directed by ‘Jayam’ M Raja. Vijay plays a milkman who reforms the society, while Hansika Motwani and Genelia are his heroines.
After completing ‘Velayudham’ and ‘Nanban’ directed by Shankar, Vijay is expected to start ‘Pagalavan’, which will be directed by Seeman. “It is a revolutionary script which will attract all attention,”
