Vijay’s dad and director, SA Chandrasekar, is set on releasing his forthcoming flick Sattapadi Kuttram just before the state assembly elections and set the ball in motion. However, things are not moving well for this veteran director as a politician has insisted that the film first be showcased to the Election Commission before its release as it may violate the rules of the EC.
Following this, several theatre owners and distributors are pondering if there would be a problem with Sattapadi Kuttram’s release and some have already decided to back off. With this unexpected problem cropping up in the last minute the director is doing all that he can to ensure the film’s release on March 25th as intended.
