Serious discussions have begun among 'Ponniyin Selvan' fans on who is doing which role in the film.

Those who have read the highly influential historical novel are curious about the character portrayals.

Singer Krish, who is known for his ‘metal’ songs and superhit numbers like Adiye kolluthe, is, surprisingly, a voracious reader as well.

“Vandiya Devan, the character which Vijay plays is also the main man in 'Ponniyin Selvan' and the character is a straightforward spy. I really can’t wait to see the film and my favourite characters,” says Krish who has read all the five volumes of 'Ponniyin Selvan' twice.
