Is Velayudham postponed to August?

Buzz is getting bigger for Vijay starrer Velayudham. At present the film is right now on the heels of completion.

Recently director of Velayudham M. Raja has given an interview to a newspaper tabloid said "The film will be a non-stop rollicking mass masala film filled with all right ingredients in right ratio for a block buster hit. Velayudham gives the much needed entertainment and up to date 85 per cent of the film is complete.”

Jayam Raja added "Producer Aascar Ravichandran has spent lavishly to make the film look rich and for one particular song, he spent nearly Rs 2Cr. I am happy to be a part of this project and lucky to get a producer who doesn't compromises on anything for getting a rich product.

Velayudham has so far done with three songs shoot and two more are remaining which will be shot in the month of May or June in Europe. If this is the actual plan, trade feels that the film has lesser chances of hitting the screens on Vijay's birthday (June 22).

A more realistic release date for this non-stop rollicking mass masala film would be mostly around August 15.
