Vijay to turn politico soon ??

The audio release of Vijay’s father and filmmaker S.A.C.’s new film Sattapadi Kuttram, which took place at Kamala Theatre in the city, set the With Sathyaraj and controversial director Seeman (who has acted in the film) among the invitees, everyone expected hard-hitting political speeches and they were not disappointed.
Kamala Theater owner V.N. Chidambaram set the ball rolling. “I don’t mind S.A.C. coming to politics. But I request him to spare Vijay for the film industry. Vijay should not enter politics. He has the potential to make it big even in Hollywood! I am saying this because of the bitter experiences faced by my close friend, the late legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan after he entered the political scene.”
In response to this request Sathyaraj said, “Directors like Shankar and Mani Ratnam are there to take Vijay to Hollywood.” (Apparently Vijay is acting in both the directors’ films). “Why should Chidambaram compare Vijay to Sivaji? He should be compared to M.G.R. who made it big in politics. So, Vijay who has all the qualities of a good politician, should come forward and join politics.”
Seeman echoed this view and said that responsible citizens like Vijay ought to involve themselves in hardcore politics.
Director Shankar received the first set of audio CDs. Music director Vijay Antony and the cast including Vikranth, Harish Kalyan, Bhanu, Aishwarya, Komal Sharma, director Venkatesh and a host of other celebrities, Ramanarayanan, R.K. Selvamani, Jiiva, Shoba Chandrashekaran, Sangeetha Vijay were present on the glittering occasion.
The surprising part was that actor Vijay, who was the subject of most of the speeches, was conspicuous by his absence at the function!
