A fitting Finale

Director Jayam Raja is currently busy shooting the climax portions of his forthcoming Velayudham with Vijay in several locations in Chennai. Sources close to the director tells CT that the climax scenes will be one of the highlights of the film and Raja has taken utmost pain to shoot the scenes.
A source says, “Raja has been shooting the climax portions in SIPCOT with Vijay in a grand manner for the last three days. The scenes involve almost 5000 artists and 1000 vans and other extras. He finished a portion of the sequence in Cochin recently and will continue it on a huge set that has been erected in a mill near the airport. The shooting is likely to go on for 15 days. This is the last schedule and after this, only one song remains to be shot.”
We hear Genelia, who plays a journalist in the film, will be joining the unit soon. She tweeted, “Back to the sets of Velayudham. Massive climax and extremely important. Director Raja totally in control.”
