Before the election results were out, Vijay had made a request to the Velayutham producer. That is to invite Jayalalitha for the audio launch. But Aascar Ravichandran refused to pay heed to the idea as he did not want political colors for his film. It is said that Aascar was skeptical of Jayalalitha winning the elections and hence kept Vijay’s request at bay.
With Jayalalitha returning back to power, the producer had given his go ahead to invite her, sources say. However, it is not certain that the CM would attend the audio launch as she had criticized the former CM Karunanidhi for attending film functions during his regime.
