"Kavalan is a movie to rock on with in my career"- Siddique

Three cheers to Vijay as his Kavalan completed 100 days in theatres across Tamilnadu. The movie, a remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard, was directed by Siddique. Asin played Vijay's ladylove in the movie.

Interestingly the movie witnessed a lots of trouble before it released and eventually Vijay blamed the ruling government of trying to sabotage the release of the film. Interestingly the movie that had music by Vidyasagar won the admiration of Vijay fans as the actor chose to go back to his old way - combining action with romance.

Vijay, who had a slew of failures before Kavalan, thanked Siddique. He said, ' Kavalan is a movie to reckon with in his career. Interestingly the movie is now remade in Hindi starriung Salman Khan.
