Vijay who is back as a mass hero after the hit film Kavalan is almost ready with his next film Velayudham. The film is fast approaching completion and Jayam Raja the director is said that the film is well on schedule. The film crew is waiting for post production work once the director says pack up. The shoot is presently taking place in Chennai and its surrounding areas later which the team will board their flight to abroad for canning a song. According to reports the movie’s climax will be the highlight.Genelia D’Souza and Hansika Motwani play the female leads opposite Vijay. Genelia is a daring journalist whereas Hansika plays the role of a village belle. Santhanam gives the comedy element.
Music has been scored by Vijay Anthony. It is certain that Velayudham will be released on Vijay’s birthday that is on June 22nd. The film is produced by Aascar Ravichandran. The action scenes have been choreographed by a Hollywood stunt master. Vijay Anthony is scoring the music and it heard that he has come up with peppy numbers.
